Born and raised in Compton CA. Kalay has been aspiring to leave his mark in the music game. He has been consistently dropping new material from hot new singles to fresh visuals, keeping his fan base always ready for more. As the hiphop culture continues to breed new talent most don’t possess the delivery and lyrical capability that Kalay has. The art work that Kalay delivers is very diverse he keeps you entertained track after track, whether you’re listening to his latest project “While They Wait” or just going down his playlist. Drawing a comparison to artist such as J Cole, Logic, and Drake it’s easy to understand why a buzz has been created. In this new wave of mumble rap, Kalay decided to stay true to himself and his sound by staying in his lane and not getting distracted by trends. He’s been pursuing and growing in his music career since 2008, he was the co-headliner for his very first show at the Crazy Horse Venue in West Covina, His Collaborative track “Envidia” was played during Golden Boy Promotions Canelo vs Chavez Event at the MGM Grand In Las Vegas. Kalay released his first project in 2014 called “First Impression EP” and coproduced every record on the project. Since then he’s released his “While They Wait Mixtape” , has dropped new music once a month and co produced every Music Video to go along with each release.
